WRIGHTSVILLE, Ark. — The City of Wrightsville, in partnership with Sports Power Infrastructure Arkansas, Tough Choices Foundation, and The SPIN Foundation, announces the launch of the Sports Power Infrastructure Arkansas Athlete Workforce and Supplier Development Program, a 12-session initiative taking place from December 9, 2026, through January 28, 2027.

Hosted at the Sen. Bill Walker Jr. City of Wrightsville Gymnasium, the program connects student-athletes in grades 6-12 with workforce and supplier career pathways through athletic assessments, predictive data analytics, career readiness training, industry exposure, and hands-on learning experiences.

The program supports Athletes Make The Best Top 100 Arkansas, recognizing excellence in athletic performance, education, leadership, workforce readiness, and entrepreneurship while helping participants explore careers, businesses, and contract opportunities connected to Arkansas' growing economy.

Beginning December 9, students will participate in weekly sessions focused on leadership development, industry exposure, community needs assessments, supplier development, and the Sports Power Infrastructure Supply Chain Challenge. The program concludes on January 27-28, 2027, with Workforce + Supplier Days, where students help connect residents with employers, contractors, manufacturers, and suppliers under the theme:

Careers. Contracts. Community Benefits.
