Sports Power Infrastructure Taps Renita Certain to Advance American Workforce and Wellness Solutions

Certain begins a two-year term focused on connecting American workforce development, wellness and quality of life with infrastructure investment and economic opportunity.

As investment accelerates across energy, manufacturing, data and other infrastructure markets, America’s workforce challenge extends beyond filling jobs. Industries, governments and communities increasingly need strategies that address the skills, wellness and quality-of-life factors that help people enter the workforce, remain employed and build sustainable careers.

Sports Power Infrastructure™ (SPI) has named Renita Certain Senior Advisor, American Workforce + Wellness Solutions for a two-year term, bringing her experience across workforce development, human services, education, community engagement and technical project management to SPI’s growing platform.

Certain’s multidisciplinary background spans workforce development, case management, outreach, reentry services, resource advocacy and project leadership. She has helped individuals and families connect with employment, education, housing, mental health support and community resources, alongside experience supporting technical construction and engineering projects.

Certain’s term will initially support three major initiatives.

First is the 2026 Athletes Make The Best Workforce + Suppliers Market Report | NY Energy + Manufacturing, developed by SPI and the Institute for Workforce Advancement to identify workforce interests, supplier opportunities, training needs and barriers to employment and entrepreneurship.

Second, Certain will support SPI’s work with commercial and industrial companies, public and private infrastructure development partners, school districts, senior care providers, businesses and community organizations. Her work will help connect infrastructure investment with workforce development, wellness, supplier participation and community economic growth.

Third, as a Co-Founder of The SPIN Foundation, Certain will help advance the SPIN Made in America: Workforce + Wellness Academy, powered by The SPIN Foundation in partnership with DomesticContent.com. Programs include SPIN Workforce, SPIN Health, SPIN Digital, SPIN Housing, Domestic Content 101 and Sports Power Infrastructure, connecting people and businesses with training, wellness, digital skills, housing stability, supplier readiness and economic opportunities.
