Sports + Entertainment Needs Assessment: Giving Communities a Voice in Current and Future Infrastructure Development

The Sports + Entertainment Needs Assessment, developed by Sports Power Infrastructure, is a free, standardized assessment that identifies community needs in sports, entertainment, facilities, workforce development, and investment. Open to adults ages 18–64 and seniors ages 65 and older, it transforms community feedback into actionable opportunities.

Sports Power Infrastructure deploys assessments at the request of communities or groups of community stakeholders, including any combination of residents, businesses, community organizations, educational institutions, government agencies, and industry representatives. To maintain independence, neutrality, and credibility, assessments are never co-branded with requesting organizations.

The 11-question assessment measures sports and entertainment interests, facility demand, affordability, accessibility, career opportunities, and investment priorities. Findings help identify service gaps and guide current and future infrastructure development.

Public briefings of assessment findings are available to communities, government agencies, businesses, investors, and other stakeholders. Dedicated briefings may also be requested to explore local priorities, funding opportunities, and potential partnerships.

Through independent assessments and consistent reporting, Sports Power Infrastructure helps communities make informed decisions, attract investment, and create measurable opportunities.

Every Community Has a Voice. Every Opportunity Starts With Understanding.
